Idlewild’s story doesn’t end with my book. My research on this historic amusement park continues, so I encourage the community to share your photos and memories of Idlewild. I plan to feature more in-depth stories and photos that didn’t make the book here on my website and on my Idlewild Facebook group.
A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this book and I am honored that Idlewild and SoakZone entrusted me to tell their story. I couldn’t have researched and written this magnum opus without the help of many incredible people, organizations and, of course, the park itself. Idlewild has operated in three succeeding centuries and I am proud to be a part of its fascinating history!
