Pap: Manila City Hall – Manila, Philippines c.1946/1947

Thomas Alexander Piotrowski, Sr._1946-47_Manila, Philippines_13The landmark in the background of this photograph is the Manila City Hall.  This building is located in Manila’s main tourism area just outside the oldest and most historic district in the city, the Intramuros, which  was nicknamed the “Walled City” because it was indeed fortified. The city hall’s hexagonal clock tower stands out as the largest clock tower in the Philippines.
