I had a bad day today. But in perspective, my bad day was nothing compared to being drafted and shipped out to a foreign country thousands of miles away from your friends and family.
This picture has the same series number as several other pictures dated November 1946 on the back (Grammie) showing ships and cranes and bridges around what looks to be a harbor at Manila. I’m not sure what kind of vessel the servicemen are on and to where they are traveling (or why). What a great shot, though. I wonder what land (island? atoll?) that is across the water.
