Pap: Taken April 1946 at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia

Thomas Alexander Piotrowski, Sr._April 1946_Bivouac at AP Hill, VA_02It’s a little blurry, but here is a shot of an unidentified serviceman at the camp near Bowling Green, Virginia where my pap completed his bivouac training.  I did a quick MapQuest search and Fort A.P. Hill is about three hours from where my pap completed his basic training at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.

      1. Also, thank you for your service!!! 🙂

I am hoping I might have some additional pictures of Fort A.P. Hill… I will have to keep digging through pictures and see if my Pap might recognize it in some of them.
